New Delhi, July 11, 2025 – Get ready for a fashion fiesta as India Couture Week (ICW) 2025 is all set to light up New Delhi from July 23 to July 31 at the grand Taj Palace! This 18th edition, brought by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) with Hyundai India and Reliance Brands, is bringing together 14 of India’s top designers like Manish Malhotra, Tarun Tahiliani, and Ritu Kumar. It’s a spectacular mix of our rich traditions and super glamorous modern fashion that’ll leave everyone in awe!

A Big Fashion Party

India Couture Week is like the Diwali of Indian fashion full of sparkle, style, and pride! From July 23 to 31, designers like Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Anita Dongre, Gaurav Gupta, and JJ Valaya will show off their stunning creations. Hyundai’s CRETA Electric is the cool partner this year, adding a touch of modern vibe to our desi heritage. “This is where India’s amazing craftsmanship shines,” said FDCI Chairman Sunil Sethi. “Our designers mix old-school traditions with today’s style!”

Desi Roots, Modern Twists

The collections this year are all about blending our culture with new-age glamour. Manish Malhotra, the Bollywood fashion king, is bringing lehengas and anarkalis with sparkly zardozi and chikankari work, perfect for brides or red-carpet divas. Rahul Mishra’s designs, like his gorgeous turquoise lehenga with floral embroidery, are inspired by nature and Indian stories, already making waves online.

Tarun Tahiliani will wow with Benarasi saris and bandhani outfits, but with modern twists like draped looks and corset tops. Suneet Varma, celebrating 30 years, is ready to steal the show with shiny metallic gowns and pastel dresses that scream Bollywood drama. Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla will bring their signature grand style with gota and zardozi-heavy lehengas, while JJ Valaya’s Mughal-inspired sherwanis and velvets will feel like royalty on the runway.

ICW is famous for bridal wear, but 2025 is mixing things up! Designers are creating outfits for all kinds of occasions think sangeet, cocktail parties, or even festive gatherings. Gaurav Gupta’s futuristic designs, with metallic tops and shiny embroidery, are perfect for young, bold fashionistas. Anita Dongre is keeping it eco-friendly with handwoven fabrics, making sustainable fashion super stylish. Falguni Shane Peacock will bring glittery, bold looks with lots of beadwork, mixing Indian vibes with global flair.

Our designers are already global stars Manish Malhotra dressed Beyoncé, and Rahul Mishra worked with Tod’s! But there’s also a push to give credit to Indian artisans, especially after brands like Dior used our mukaish embroidery without shouting out the craftsmen.

ICW isn’t just about big names it’s also about new talent. Young designers and over 400 FDCI members get a chance to shine. There’s even a Vogue Wedding Atelier in Mumbai happening alongside, where top designers like Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and international brand ELIE SAAB will show bridal collections. Plus, designers like Anita Dongre are using eco-friendly fabrics, showing the youth that fashion can be kind to the planet.
